Hi, I'm James. I teach electric, acoustic and classical guitar based in Frimley — to absolute beginners, kids who want to play their favourite song, and grown-ups who've been promising themselves "next year" for a decade.

I've taught guitar in Frimley for twenty years — and I still get a kick out of that first clean chord change.

My approach is patient, structured, and built around what you actually want to play. There's a place for technique drills and a place for studying your favourite songs — and the trick is knowing which one's needed when.

I teach electric, acoustic and classical, from absolute beginner through to Grade 8 and beyond. Lessons happen one-to-one, in person at my home in Frimley, or online over Zoom if that suits better.
